Hi all,

I just got contacted by a lawyer from Blizzard. Not sure how but they got my contact info (I guess from DNS records) and called me at work.

At first I heard he say something like “I am a lawyer from Blue entertainment …”, and I thought “Oh another advertisement”, then he asked about zoloFighter, and my thought was “WHAT?!!”.

Turned out he is from Blizzard. All conversions are confidential, so I can’t disclose much, all I can tell you is, I will shutdown the offset server tonight after I came home, so bot will stop working after tonight.

Yes I did some in-depth research on Blizzard vs MDY, and I think my actions are defensible via 1102(f), fair use rule, but I don’t want the trouble to go to court.
And please don’t ask me for source code/private versions etc. I don’t have the time to study if the action is legal or not. So far the experience with Blizzard (actually the lawyer) is enjoyable, I don’t want to ruin that.
